Located in Yagaji Island on the northern part of Okinawa’s main island, YAGAJI STAY is a private villa where traditional Okinawan scenery remains.
屋内と外をゆるやかに繋ぐ深い雨端、開放的な開口など、沖縄の古き良き伝統的家屋の魅力を残しながら、現代風のアレンジを加えた新しい木造民家スタイルの宿です。
The modern villa retains the charm of Okinawa’s traditional houses with features such as the extensive verandas around the building that seamlessly connect the indoors and outdoors.
防風林の役割も果たすフクギに囲まれた敷地。 入り口にある昔ながらのヒンプン。枝を伸ばすガジュマルの木。古井戸から引いた水が流れる水盤など、沖縄の伝統的な雰囲気を感じられる空間をお楽しみください。
From the Fukugi trees surrounding the villa that break the wind to the Banyan tree with its sprawling branches, the villa is immersed in greenery. At the entrance, there is a traditional stone “hinpun” wall and a water basin with flowing water from an old well that allows you to feel the classic atmosphere of Okinawa.
フクギ並木、素朴な赤瓦住宅、懐かしい雰囲気の商店など済井出の集落には昔ながらの沖縄らしい光景も残っています。そんな景色を探しながら、のんびり散策するのもオススメです。
We recommend walking through the village of Sumuide, which still retains traditional Okinawan scenery with rows of Fukugi trees, red-tiled homes, and nostalgic shops.
ヴィラから徒歩数分で行ける済井出の海。打ち寄せる穏やかな波を眺めていると、時が経つのも忘れます。
The Sumuide beach is only a few minutes away from the villa on foot. Time seems to fly away when you watch the gentle waves lapping on the shore.
